Hi Summer, thank you for joining me in this class and sharing your art :) Watercolor is a tricky medium, and it’s completely normal to feel like it’s not clicking right away. If I can offer a small practical tip: materials can make a huge difference with watercolors. If you feel the paint isn’t flowing or behaving the way you expect, it might be worth experimenting with a different setup. A good-quality paper (ideally 100% cotton) can completely change how the paint moves and blends. For paints, you might enjoy trying a student-grade set from Winsor &amp; Newton, they’re very reliable, and work beautifully even for beginners. Keep practicing, you’re absolutely on the right path, and every attempt, including this one, is part of building confidence and control.
