I really enjoyed this class. It taught me a lot. My colour is not as orangy but a lot darker. I decided to stick with it once it was on the paper and focussed on contrasting areas. In the end I feel I overworked it and the paper began to show it, still I am happy with the outcome.

I loved painting this eye but did find it harder. I guess one thing I would love to hear you say as well as show, is what you do wet on wet and when you go in wet on dry. I found, eventhough I watched it all the way through before painting, that I missed it when painting along and then went in dry which did not always come out right. Still I really appreciate your teaching on each part on sketching, colour blending, values and details. I feel I have a lot more confidence now. I do have a question when painting a portrait, would you paint one eye at a time or paint both simultaneously? Thanks Tanja.
