For this project, I created a fun and spooky set of Halloween-themed icons and brought them to life using After Effects animation techniques learned in class. My icons include classic Halloween visuals like jack-o’-lanterns, bats, ghosts, witches’ hats, black cats, candy, and more, all designed to capture the playful and eerie spirit of the season.

In this animation project, I focused on:

✨ Expressive motion — giving each icon its own personality through timing, easing, and subtle secondary animations.
👻 Themed consistency — using a cohesive color palette and style to make everything feel unified and Halloween-inspired.
🕸️ After Effects techniques — including keyframing, squash & stretch, offset animations, and easy ease to enhance the energy and flow of the icons.
🎬 Final composition — arranging my animated icons into a snappy, engaging loop that works great as a social clip or intro piece.

This project helped me explore how simple shapes and creative motion can turn static graphics into lively, characterful designs. I’m excited to share it with the Skillshare community and continue building my animation skills!
