I came to this class because I am looking to improve my landscape painting - I’ve learned shading before, so this class was a logical next step. I also enjoy painting undersea scenes, which requires depth of colour.
I found the class project a bit old-fashioned but good practice - the most useful activity for clarifying the ideas of this class was the study in Paynes Grey, and I might use this exercise in future to help study the required depth of colour for future paintings.
