Impressionism was about capturing light and everyday life. Artists like Claude Monet used loose brushstrokes and bright colours to show the feeling of a moment rather than precise details. I love how Impressionism makes you feel like you're experiencing like scene in real time. 

 

Cubism, led by artists like Pablo Picasso, broke objects into geometric shapes and showed them from multiple perspectives at once. I find cubism fascinating because it makes you look at ordinary things in a completely new way. 

Watching this lesson helped me see how art evolved in the 20th century, from capturing reality to experimenting with form and perspective.
