My Brand Personality & Voice

In Class 3 of Build a Resilient Brand, I used the Brand Personality & Voice workbook to translate my business into a living, breathing persona. I defined my style as timeless, vibrant, and distinctive, and my behaviour as empowering, engaging, and forward-thinking—brought to life through informative, thoughtful, visual communication. From there, I built a Brand Voice Matrix and a simple style guide that capture my tone (genuine, warm, encouraging) and the kind of language I use (clear, positive, inclusive, and educational).

All of these choices are an extension of my core brand essence from Part 1 of this class series: Assurance. For me, “Assurance” means creating a brand that feels like a steady, trusted companion—someone who can hold space for your ideas, give you clarity when you’re overwhelmed, and cheer you on while you take bold, creative risks. The colours, photography, and mission statement (“We build better brands for a bright and creative future!”) are all designed to make people feel both safe and inspired to grow.
