A truly enjoyable learning experience with Nadine on this flamingo project.

First of all, Nadine has truly magical skills in how she can so smoothly blend colors and shading flawlessly.

This class was a great exercise in learning/practicing those skills as well as balancing light vs dark and loose vs detail.

I used Arches 9 x 12", so the facial area was quite small to work in, it would be fun to repaint this in a larger format. I did not have all of the recommended colors but used the closest I had, all D Smith.

I made plenty of mistakes along the way, but thoroughly enjoyed the class and felt I learned a lot. Thank you Nadine for another wonderful class!
