I wanted to sketch this picture from a recent event and it seemed a possibility to do some drama. Maybe not as dramatic as it could be with a city scape I guess - but it was fun to do and play with the shadows. The actual day was very cloudy and there were actually hardly any shadows at all in reality. Anyway I had some fun and the figures were quite a challenge. I left the fake sunlit side white to try and give the appearance that the sun was shining brightly.
- still scouring my photo collection for something to play with more shadows.....
