Sasha Hill: Releasing Conditions & Loving Myself Freely
Each day this week, I’ll name one condition I’ve been placing on my self-love or the love I accept from others.
Then I’ll gently release it by affirming.
“I am good enough just the way I am.
and I’ll end with one positive truth about myself.

Today, I’m reminding myself that I am only human. There are moments I replay in my mind — things I wish I had said differently, or times I wish I had handled better. But I’m learning that holding onto those moments doesn’t serve me. I choose to let them go.
I know I can’t do everything I plan, and when things don’t go my way, I sometimes feel like I’ve lost myself. I’m working on accepting that life doesn’t always unfold the way I expect — and that’s okay.
I also want to focus on how I speak to my husband. I need to slow down, listen, and try to understand his feelings more deeply. Communication is something I want to continue growing in, not just for him, but for our future together.
I’m realizing that I can’t help everyone, especially when I’m not helping myself first. I need to give myself the same care and understanding that I give to others.
From now on, I’ll remind myself to learn from the past, release what I can’t change, and focus on what’s right in front of me — the present moment, where peace and growth truly
begin.

Weekly Journal – “One Fun Thing Each Day for Myself”
Monday:
Today, I treated myself to something special — I bought a copy of my second book, Sheba Secrets. Holding it in my hands reminded me of how far I’ve come as a writer and how much my creativity continues to grow. It felt like a quiet celebration of my own accomplishments.
Tuesday:
I spent some peaceful time in the kitchen making my favorite herbal teas. I carefully poured them into mason jars and labeled each one. The simple act of organizing and creating something nourishing for myself brought me such calm and joy.
Wednesday:
It was Wine Down Wednesday! I joined a Zoom call with a couple of my best friends, and together we shared laughter, stories, and reflections on all we’ve accomplished this October. It was empowering and refreshing to just be women, celebrating each other.
Thursday:
I took myself out to lunch today — a little solo date to unwind and enjoy my own company. It felt good to slow down, savor my meal, and simply be present with my thoughts.
Friday:
My husband and I went to the lake, where we fed the ducks and had a heartfelt talk about our new journey together as newlyweds. It was a peaceful and grounding moment, surrounded by nature and love.
Saturday:
I embraced the cozy season by decorating the house with fall pumpkins and seasonal décor. The warm colors and festive touches made our home feel extra inviting — a true reflection of autumn’s beauty.
Sunday:
I created something deeply personal today my own DIY prayer closet. It’s a sacred space just for me, where I can connect, reflect, and find peace. Building it with my own hands made me feel proud, ground
ed, and truly blessed.
