First i watched the lessons then i did the exercise with the paint and gradually adding more water then with the lines i did some practise lines along the edge of it.

After that i watched the rest of the lessons including how you did all three projects because i wanted to watch and listen absorb the information. For the first project i painted a jar and for the background i chose two different shades of green. I tried to put paint on with short strokes because i like how short strokes look in paintings.

I think i went overboard with the shadow for the size of the jar but overall i am happy with how it turned out. For the second project i did a flower vase that has plastic roses it's a planet hollywood vase which was a challenge in itself.

 

Overall i think it came out okay. For the third project i decided because i didn't have a bowl of fruits on hand to paint a landscape that had a fantasy element. I came on the idea to do a garden with stairs leding to a built in portal where the destination is unknown i used sky and trees behind a wall to try and show it's a portal better.

I really like how the short strokes in the sky and grass came out. Thank you for the class Alanna i feel i understand Acrylic Gouache enough to start practising with it and improving my skills with it over time.
