Thank you, Delores, for sharing this blend mode "secret weapon" for choosing highlight and shade colors! I am so grateful. Choosing colors is definitely not my strong suit and your Multiply and Screen blend mode method has already put me on the path to success in several projects, including my Halloween e-card.

The second design I posted here is a take-off of the project you led us through in your class. I added a different background color and timely message for a friend. Now, I'm ready for any birthday that comes along!
