I’m so happy for you and I truly hope this opens up more creative doors for you in the coming year.Now, onto your class project...First of all, thank you so much for being the only one who submitted a project for this class. That already makes you so special in my book. But beyond that, I genuinely enjoyed going through your afternoon light session. You mentioned that the project was fun—and that meant a lot to me, because I had so much fun creating this class too. So knowing you actually tried it and enjoyed it makes everything feel full circle.Let’s talk about your photos—because wow, you really applied the lessons beautifully.Your wind chime photo is such a lovely, nostalgic image. I love how you used foreground and background to frame your subject, and the centered composition really draws the eye in. It’s calm, it’s heartfelt, and it tells a story without needing words.And then there’s Salem. 🐾 Oh my goodness. That photo made me smile so much! Using framing like that—genius. And those eyes? Salem staring right into the camera gave the image so much personality. I think I’ve found my favorite. Yep. I’m calling it. Salem wins my heart.Your garden series was another favorite—I noticed your wide, medium, and close-up shots, and I absolutely loved seeing how you explored different perspectives. It shows that you were really practicing the principles from class, not just once, but with intention. That’s how you grow as a photographer. You played with light, framing, composition—and you did it all during golden hour too! That warm light really brought everything to life.And I had to laugh a little about your wide shot of the pond—thank you for the warning about the alligator! 😅 Definitely love the photo, but safety first always, please!Andrea, I just want to say that by choosing to show up, participate, and really experience the project, you’re already ahead. You’ve started seeing the light differently, noticing small moments, capturing stories. And I have a feeling you won’t look at photo-taking the same way again.With all that said, you absolutely deserve this Skillshare Premium membership.
