I had been planning to start an idea book in one of my travelers journals but… found this cutie and had some leftover birthday money so yes, I purchased a cute journal just for this. And I created one page in this journal to kick off the collecting of ideas - a section I will call “florals.” I pasted in a printout of art from another Skillshare teacher who does a lot of abstract and bright florals - also added tips I gathered from one of her classes. For those looking for more  inspiration, here is another idea:  I also have been gathering lots of paper and sticker books like the magazine Cut + Paste and the Paper Paper Paper series books to find inspiration (see photo). Lots of patterns and ideas in these.
