I've been using Krita  on and off but never took the time to really get into the software, the tools and find my process. This was  such a nice class to go back to the basics and complete an artwork :) Thank you so much for the amazing class and all the great tips, it made me want to go back into more digital art! Next step: play with brushes to better understand how they interact with already existing colors, how opaque they are etc. I always get frustrated when creating highlights that my light colors just get muddied by the existing base color and then it all looks overworked... Perhaps placing highlights on a different layer (but grouped so that I can lock the pixels of the base layer) would help with the issue? I think I tried at some point but got lost in my layer management (I still forget to navigate the layers to make sure I'm working on the right one, especially when doing the "final" touches).
