IF YOU CURRENTLY WORK WITH AN ORGANIZATION:

1. Review the Grant Readiness Checklist from Lesson 3 and the other elements we discussed throughout the course.  This is our first attempt at learning about grants.
2. Collect the items your organization already has. Most items are already done. We have various appeals during a year and can show our clients that we have served through our impact report.
3. What items do you still need to develop, and who can help? Need to involve the board more on grants and funders.
4. Do any items need to be updated or revised? Need to update and review our Mission, Vision and Goals statements.  It has been a few years since these were written.
5. What are your long-term project goals? Need to identify specific project. We are an International non-profit organization and identifying funders for international projects is tougher.
