Taking this course helped me understand how the stock market works and gave me a strong foundation for analyzing companies.  Before, I mostly looked at stock prices without knowing what influenced them.  Now I have a better understanding of how to look at a company's overall health, what its numbers actually mean, and how to compare it to others in the same industry.

One of my biggest takeaways was realizing that strong businesses often show consistent growth in both revenue and earnings, and that these fundamentals matter more than short-term price movements.  I also learned how market psychology, like bullish and bearish trends, can influence short-term decisions.

Going forward, I plan to start tracking a few companies that interest me and to be able to balance my portfolio.  I will also know what my husband talks about as he has started paper trading himself.  This course gave me more confidence to be able to give my opinion and maybe some day learn to trade myself.
