Logline:

A downtrodden woman working off debt is thrust into the epicenter of a fantastical journey when a job goes wrong.

Road Map:

Worn down from years under the thumb of a guileful politician, Ryn is condemned to endless arduous jobs in search of financial liberty. (stasis) But when a simple delivery turns into a fight against the occult, she finds herself gripping the last bit of her sanity and life. (catalyst)

After the capture of her newfound magical companion and the package, Ryn teams up with a tortured vagabond and an overly interested innkeeper to infiltrate the cult. (break into 2) The innkeeper offers knowledge and the chance at achieving their goals, but Ryn discovers his connection to the problem runs deeper than he let on. (midpoint)

When attempting to save their captured friend, Ryn discovers the cultist's plan for ritual sacrifice too late and curses her inferiority. (low point) However, the cultist's ritual backfires, fueling the ancient magic stored within their would-be prophet. (break into 3)

The group bands together, newly empowered, to destroy the cult from within. (climax) In the end, the innkeeper accepts his place as guild master and works to equalize the wealth disparity. The cult is crippled, but remains a threat. The vagabond returns home for the time being, ready for rest. Ryn and her magical companion settle into the day-to-day, waiting for the remnants of the cult to resurface. (denouement)
