My niece is graduating high school and she is a wonderful dancer. So went back to try my this class again. My last version was very nice but I wasn't happy with the face and my niece always wears a bun so here is my second attempt...

 

Another wonderful class with Will. I am hesitant painting faces and figures and this was challenging due to the small size of the facial features, I think I’d like to try this again larger as I think it could be very beautiful. It is approx 12”x 9”
I was very happy with the dress before the final steps to add the spontaneous flows of color on the bottom but I was so surprised how much it added to the painting. Letting go and trusting is tough but it really is satisfying. 

Thanks to Will for helping me push past some challenges I have and trying something new.
