Started by looking up some reference images of some bengal tigers for inspiration and sketched a few ideas. I really liked the front facing one for a pin as I thought the others would have too much detail.

 

When doing the artwork, I primarily used the curvature pen as I liked the ability to double click to get a "sharp" edge for the stripes. I then duplicated the face and merged it together using pathfinder. 

Lastly was adding some color to the pins. I loved playing around with some difference color palettes and creating a gold trim variant as a special alternate version. I am curious if some of the detail would have to be simplified for a pin but regardless, I would love to have this turned into an actual pin someday.

Really enjoyed the class and happy to have gotten to see the "secret message" before it self destructs haha!
