I finally painted my teapot. I arranged it very similar to your arrangement. 

I actually started with a light watercolour pencil for the outline - worked very good.

The teapot was painted first also with a blue watercolour pencil, but the colour did not match at all - I only have bright blue pencils. Therefore I covered this again with Indigo watercolour paint.
