Drawer

Cinematic travel sketching

The last time I consciously used wax crayons was in elementary school. I only had a few leftovers floating around in the drawer. I recently bought a cheap set of water-soluble oil pastels, but haven't done much with them yet. Just the basic colors. So the palette was very limited. I could probably have used white, but oh well. I chose 2 well-known places in Kassel, my birthplace, as my motif. My sketchbook format is very small. I don't know if you can recognize anything at all.
Thanks for the course. It's always nice to try out new techniques. I've gained a lot from it! Looking forward to more.

To finish this I skratched with the palette knife. Think it gave a sense of motion to the piece.
