First excercise was nice and chill, took my time but also didnt overthink

anything

One line challenge! Turned out better than expected, i finished it and then heard i could use reference and just went- oh...

My safe space (the censored part is my partner, he wouldnt be comfortable to be shown here). Was happy with the sketch as is and didnt want to mess it up with lineart or colour so i stopped there. Quite fitting too as i mostly do sketches without finishing it and am most comfortable doing them, so this is sketch of me probably doing sketches :DMy 10 Creative Excercises - image 3 - student project

Opposite hand challenge, kind of embraced the lack of control here and went more for interesting colours working together, and then kept adding things and it turned out rather cool, proud of it. Though at start i just took up the marker, put it in my right hand and wanted to open the cap but was like: no, hold on, left hand! And then spend couple of seconds just figuring out how to open the markers in my opposite hand.

This is the doodle page, i enjoyed this one the least, wasnt fun for me so i didnt force myself to finish entire page, altough some results were kinda cool wouldnt do this one againMy 10 Creative Excercises - image 5 - student project

The two pen challenge, first with markers and then the fineliners, i did a single line and immediately wanted to scrap it because it wasnt at all what i intended to do. Interesting challenge but doesnt really spark much for me other than wanting to draw my multi eyed character again :D

These were my random shapes, i feel like i misinterpreted what i was supposed to do, but it was still drawing first thing i saw in these shapes. I struggled to see anything apart from the sock, so theyre all kind of weird creatures

The 20second challenge

For this one i wanted to improve my jawlines because i always feel like i draw them completely the same, so this was opportunity for me to experiment a bit

Last one, the abstract art piece, following your directions on what to imagine under abstract art even was very helpful, and i just followed that, put on paper what i felt like should be there with colours that felt right. Was interesting feeling to be such free in creating anything, and it really felt like it was my playing field and i could go wild without worrying about how it would end up or anything really.

Thank you for the course, altough i wouldnt say i have/had an artblock, i wanted it for some cool creative excercises to follow, did them in one evening sitting and was fun overall <3
