Here is one of the first grids and lines I put together for this class. I'm able to build out the grids much more efficiently having done this several times.

I realized some of the lines in this sketch didn't get added to my final posters, but I am still happy with the result.

 

 

Initial Coloring:

This was the first colors that I added to the poster. I then tried several different options with the following tools in Illustrator:

• Edit > Edit Colors > Recolor Artwork.

 

I explored the generative recoloring option for this version. 

 

This was another version of generative recoloring. The colors kind of give off some Super Mario Bros vibes.

 

This final version I used a color palette from Adobe Color and used the recolor artwork advanced options. I used the randomly change color order to get this final look.

 

Overall I am really happy with the results of this project. Once the colors were added, it reminded me of an old marble run toy set. Can't wait to color my other sketches. Thanks Jeff!
