Work Place Conflict

Broadly stated, their are two types of workplace conflict: when peoples ideas or choices (relating to the workplace).
A clash may start with a dispute on business practices and escalate from there to mutual loathing.
Workplace conflict is stressful and unpleasant and it increases in absenteeism.
Telling the difference is important to work whether the conflict is caused by personality clash or due to a dispute over business ideas, choices or actions. If this has been an ongoing problem over a long period of time, the conflict will only escalate more.
Workplace violence is conflict escalated to the point of threats, insults, racial abuse, sexual harassment, or physical contact. Such as pushing, shoving, or punching.
If the conflict is caused by personality clashes. The conflict will most likely continue, unless attitudes and behavior changed.
Suggestions, include:
-accept that people are different.
-thank about how much energy you wasting. In your dislike for the other person, and how you could invest that energy in more productive ways.
-don't go gossip or complain to others.
-try to be reasonable and polite or at least neutral to the other person.
-work towards making your workplace a friendlier place.
-get others to meditate.
Workplace conflict is bad for business because it can lead to downturn to productivity, and increases in absenteeism on an individual level. Workplace conflict is stressful and unpleasant.
