Pearl Plant gouache & dip pen (C&C welcome!)
Hi! I recently took a gouache class at a local art place but I want motivation to do more at home. I'm an adult with an art background, and the majority of stuff I do is cartooning, sculpting and digital. I've used watercolor and water reservoir brushes for quick sketches, but I'm starting to enjoy what gouache offers! During this project, I didn't focus on accuracy or beauty, just enjoy. I had to start the stop because of young children needing care, but I finished in one day which is kind of a big deal right now
I seen to have a habit of working too dark and trying to go light, instead of opposite. I wonder if that's from a history of painting in acrylic? Also, I just got into dip pens too, but I think I chose a nib that's too big for scale.
