User Feedback Project: Trafisizing Initiative
Description of Product or Service: Trafisizing is a size recommendation tool designed to provide accurate, personalized size recommendations for customers shopping online. The initiative aims to reduce return rates, enhance customer confidence, and streamline the shopping experience. Currently, it is integrated into the Product Detail Page (PDP) of Shapermint’s website, assisting customers in selecting the best fit based on their measurements. The long-term vision includes making Trafisizing an independent tool within My Account and potentially offering it as a service to other brands.
Research Questions and Goals:
- How effectively does Trafisizing help customers select the correct size?
- What challenges do customers face when using Trafisizing?
- Does Trafisizing reduce return rates related to sizing issues?
- How intuitive is the Trafisizing interface for first-time users?
- What improvements can be made to enhance user experience and accuracy?
User Feedback Methods:
- User Surveys: Short post-interaction surveys asking users about their experience and whether they found their recommended size useful.
- A/B Testing: Comparing the purchase and return behaviors of users who used Trafisizing versus those who did not.
- Live Chat AI Logs Analysis: Reviewing chatbot conversations to identify common user concerns or confusion points related to sizing.
- User Testing Sessions: Observing users as they interact with Trafisizing to identify usability issues.
- Customer Support Feedback: Gathering insights from support agents about customer complaints and questions related to Trafisizing.
Insights and/or Improvements:
- Clarity in Size Recommendations: Some users find the size recommendations unclear, especially when between sizes. A clearer messaging approach is needed to guide them.
- Integration with My Account: Users have expressed interest in saving their size recommendations for future purchases. Implementing Trafisizing in My Account could enhance usability.
- More Visual Guidance: Adding instructional visuals or videos on how to measure correctly could improve accuracy in inputted measurements.
- Optimization for Mobile Users: Some mobile users reported difficulty navigating the size finder. UI refinements for mobile responsiveness could improve engagement.
- Localization for International Users: Expanding unit options and adapting recommendations based on regional sizing conventions could enhance global usability.
Next Steps:
- Analyze survey responses and chatbot logs for further refinement.
- Conduct additional user testing sessions focused on new customers.
- Prototype the My Account integration and test usability.
- Improve instructional content within the size finder tool.
