Your fox looks fantastic! The texture and colour transitions are beautifully done. For the whiskers, while a size 0 brush can work, even a size 5 can achieve a fine tip if it comes to a sharp point, like Perla Escodas or Van Gogh Blue Synthetic brushes. In fact, smaller brushes don’t hold as much water, so they don’t always draw together into a tight point the way a slightly larger brush does. It’s more about the brush’s ability to taper sharply rather than just its size. Great work!

I wish I could have made the whiskers thinner. I don't have a rake brush or the calligraphy brush Will used. Hindsight revealed I could have used a 0 (I used a 1) but I'm still wondering if that would have produced a satisfactory result.
