This was very challenging to me! I liked all the practicing with colors, but when it comes to drawing (especially figures) I often feel blocked and unsure...

I very much like how you seem to manage to combine painting loosely with watercolor AND careful/precise illustration. Very interesting!

 

So this is my illustration. Funny how drawing a character freezes me, and yet I end up adding three characters... I think they could use some more work (a bit more definition and shadows), but my weekend is at an end ;) so I have dinner to cook and dishes to wash...

 

I tried to convey the feeling of sitting in the grass of a garden grown wild, and I think that comes across. I'm not happy with the blossom tree on the left, it seems too much, but I guess there's no fixing it now. Just try again sometime!
