Hey Lisa, So glad to hear that you enjoyed this class! Yes, you can use different textures. You mean for each layer of paper, right? To use a different paper texture for each mountain, for example? If so, you just need to create a layer just above each “piece of paper”, tap on the new layer, and on the menu, choose clipping mask. Then add a paper texture and you are done. Well, depending on the paper texture you add you might need to change the blend mode too. I have a class about this that might help understand how exactly that works. :) Hope this helps.  Yeah, I managed that part no problem for a static piece of art. But when it came to merging everything so I could animate it, it all went pear shaped

It’s complicated to know where the problem is without seeing your Procreate file or a more detailed explanation of what exactly didn’t work as expected. So, I have a few questions for you, hehe. Did you merge the layers using the ‘Copy All’ method? Also, did you merge only the layers that make up the landscape, or did you include the owl and paper as well?

Really enjoyed this project and have added loads more of your courses to my wish list.
Is it possible to animate this with different textures on each layer? I did try but got in such a knot
