Even though I already knew these stitches, I wanted to make the flowers to I took the class.  The flowers remind me of Irish crocheted lace.  The red one is continuous like the one in class.  Since I am a beader, I had to do a beaded version as well and that is the purple one.  The beads would not stay on the correct side if I worked it continuously, so I made a simple band, made each flower individually, and added the flowers to the band  to make the bracelet.
