Blogging Goals and Platform Choice

My blogging goal is to reflect on my personal experiences, categorize them, and make them accessible to like-minded individuals who enjoy sustainable, local travel and creative at-home activities. I aim to share insights into exploring both the world around me and my creativity. I plan to use WordPress as my long-term platform, but for now, I’ll start with Notion to focus on writing without the complexity of setting up a full website. This will help me get comfortable with the process before moving to a dedicated platform.

I’m passionate about sustainable travel in Scandinavia and Europe, finding joy in the smallest things, and sharing these experiences with others who appreciate a mindful approach to both travel and daily life.

These blogs have a great balance between content and visuals, offering clean, structured layouts that make it easy to focus on the material. I couldn’t find one that combines both of my interests, which motivates me to fill that niche with my own blog.

Social Media

I’ve decided not to use social media for my blog right now. However, in the future, I might experiment with YouTube and maybe Instagram. I’m still trying to find a balance since I don’t enjoy using social media platforms extensively, so I want to make sure it doesn’t feel overwhelming.
