I am a beginner and have no intention of selling any of my work. But I love everything Samantha does so figured I'd watch the class anyway and boy am I glad I did! 

I thought artists just popped out clean work every time! But now that I know the secret I am much less scared to make mistakes, dirty something up, and use my sketchbook (because what if I make something perfect but it's stuck in a sketchbook?!) 

I'm going to start taking photos at different points in the process, too, so I can experiment, but have something to go back to if I ruin it by doing too much.
