Season Rain!

The onset of the monsoon inspired me. I wanted to learn how to paint rain in watercolour. Finding your course made my pursuit simpler.

I started with the Rainy Day project. It turned out to be nice. I also realized the pigments lighten a little after drying up. But it was fine as it gives a nice blurry background look.

Next was Bloom in Rain.

I enjoyed painting this one. I lost my pencil marks either because they were too light or my pigments were too dark. I was worried I'd mess it up. But it still turned out to be good.

The major takeaway was how to paint raindrops by lifting paint. This technique has changed the way I paint rain.

Thank you for the course!
