Vectorizing is fun!

I really enjoyed this class! It was fun to use the tools and features I rarely use and learn new techniques. I have the latest Illustrator version (2024) and was able to follow along with the class. One feature is no longer available (Color Themes) in Illustrator, but I was able to work around the techniques.

Here's one of the projects I worked on during this class: exploring different settings of Image Trace and Recolor. The techniques in this class opened up a lot of exploration for future projects, and I hope to share more.

TIP FOR THOSE NEW TO THE CLASS:

Although the Illustrator version used in the class is older than the latest version (2024), Color Themes have not been supported within the program since 2021. However, the other techniques shown in the class are still accessible with the latest app versions.

I have used the Adobe Color Website to explore and create new color themes. From there, you simply add the theme to your Adobe Library or download the format you wish to use.
