Totally agree with warming it up- the trouble I'm running into is color calibration.  My editing monitor is fully calibrated.  When I set temp to a warmer light it looks great- but when it hits average Vivid color screen it's overdone.  This was the closest edit I could manage to make sure it's not blown out despite viewing method.

I'm afraid I am not a techie in the colour calibration department. I wish I could offer some advice! I use a MacBook which I believe is pretty accurate colour without having to calibrate.
