Watercolor - White animals, backgrounds

I used the same colors as the duck so they would sorta match if in the same room (nursery, etc). Cobalt blue background, cad yellow, permanent rose, and some Payne's gray and neutral tint.
I didn't want the painting cut off square at the bottom, so tried to fade it out there. Fun exercise and the salt worked. That's new for me. Never did before. Maybe because I had a lot of cobalt pigment down.
Went wild with the pastel pencil besides doing the whiskers. I think it goes well with the duck.
