These are great Catherine. Your simple tree looks a lot more realistic than mine!Yes its very easy to get lost in the big tree but you've done a really good job and no one would know :) Nice contrast and lovely loose mark-making. I'd maybe add a little bit more shadow to the trunk at the bottom, on the left side and under the branches, just to make it feel more solid as the trunk.Thanks for sharing your work! Emily
