After finishing this course, I was able to recognize in my past managers good and bad traits.

 

My worst manager experience was with someone who took everything I did wrong or inefficiently as a personal attack. They also would also walk back on expectations that they set.

 

My best manager experience really encapsulated the 121 meeting formula highlighted in the course. They cultivated a high level of psychological safety to the point where I was comfortable sharing any issue. I understood the benefits I was receiving by attending the meeting and the meetings ended up being fun and something I looked forward to.
