This is my first tessellation and pattern homework practice. The tessellation pattern worked out with no issues, but both the Minoan Vase and the fish scale patterns have faint, vertical and horizontal grid lines showing. I tried to fix it using various methods, but even though the illustrator file looks clean, when I saved it as a jpeg, the lines appeared. Perhaps someone can give me some advice on how to remove them. Thank you.
