Having a free flow environment on set among director, actors and the crew members is paramount to the success of the production. 

Time is money and to avoid crashes or conflict on set, as a director, I have to relate with my actors and crew members well. 

Some actors have pride and assumes they know better than the director. In such case, I will give them a listening ear to any suggestions they may have and politely turn it down if it goes against my plan as a director. 

Also I will avoid using negative words or yelling at my actors or crew members. 

When the pressure gets so high, I will make a funny jokes to ease the tension and constantly smile and cheer them up.
