I enjoyed the ideas in this lesson.

Our daughter's name means snow in my native language, which inspired me to make this page in my art journal on her birthday.

I repeated the page in my new art journal after the previous was damaged.

Using watercolour for the background, then a combination of Sakura Gelly Rolls in white and metalic silver, along with some blue Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze pens to give the snowflakes different textures.

I made the second attempt part of a larger two page spread and I really enjoy how it looks together.
