Thnx so much for these great lessons. I’ve learned so much! I saw this photo of Jim at a concert of a tribute band of the doors and I wanted to draw or paint him. This was the perfect medium for it.

 

It’s difficult to save the black for e.g. eyelashes and hairs, so I’ve used some black charcol for this in the portrait of the child. I’ll keep on practising, it’s so much fun :).
