Color Scheme Game - Part One - How to put a color wheel to good use

Well done, Elaine. Drawing Alternatives I is filled with different drawing techniques that are both fun and effective.

I played the game every morning for three years and each day I learned something new.  I continue to play the game and continue to learn more about color.  I thank my dad for teaching me how to teach myself skills by inventing games and making it fun.  Three cheers for great fathers.

After completing the first listen, I went to find a second. Skill share has deleted it. I can't believe it it's one of the few courses here taught by a professional who knows what she's talking about.

If skills share wants to delete something they should look at the beginning, watercolor classes, who totally ignore composition, and use weird colors that the beginner doesn't have and they think they have to go out and buy it because they're not taught any better

I’m with you Elaine, if the video plays fine on other platforms, it must be something to do with the Skillshare platform and they should be helping to remedy the problem.

Haven't attended the class yet, but the topic itself is truly eye-opening. "Value does the work, but color gets all the glory." &lt;3

Perhaps Skillshare will give in if enough people contact them about it... Otherwise, Chris also offers the incredibly enticing option of embarking on the "Artist's Journey" for a small monthly fee on her website, which includes this course series among others.

Thanks - I saw that someone mentioned the "Artist's Journey" but didn't know what it meant.

It's an artists community on my website where we have weekly live sessions discussing all things ART such as inspiring books, other artists creative processes, our own sketchbooks, etc.  It also includes access to ALL of my website online courses! more than a hundred videos, a forum where we communicate and ongoing Challenges.  All of it is to encourage and inspire one another along our unique journeys as artists.

Hey Elaine, Wanted to let you know I just heard back from the Content Moderation Team on Skillshare.  They re-reviewed Chris’s Part II Color class and determined it met all guidelines.  The class is now available to watch!  (As it should have been from the start). :) :)

Thank you for your support and taking the time to let the Content Moderation Team know your feelings.  I am currently in Maui painting and I was delighted to awaken to an email from Skillshare letting me know that the class has been re-opened.  If it hadn't been for your efforts and the efforts of other incredibly supportive students, it would still be closed.  They never did respond to my emails explaining that I couldn't "fix" a problem that didn't exist.  Thank you so, so much!
