Magical Creatures Daycare

BRAINSTORMING - PROJECT IDEA: Magical creatures daycare
You own the new Magical Creatures Daycare of your town. Take care of the pets of powerful wizards and witches, attend their special needs and make sure to keep them happy and healthy.
If you fail your tasks, the pets will get sick and mad, and expect the worst enchantment from their guardians. If you succesfully compelte your tasks, you'll win awesome rewards and get to keep your daycare as popular as it should.
GOALS
- Learning about responsible pet ownership
- Development of empathy for other living beings
GAME MECHANICS AND DIFFICULTU
- Reward the player every time they manage to properly take care of all the requirements of a creature.
- Difficulty of care increases with each level.
- There will be "normal care" for each creature, which will help you advance through the levels, and "special care" that will grant extra points (but are optional). At the end there will be a score counter and you will be able to know how successful your daycare was.
INDIRECT CONTROL
- The “special care” feature will be visually appealing so the user will be more motivated to complete those tasks.
- Pets will have cuter reactions to “special care” tasks completed, so the players are motivated.
- Free to choose improvements in your daycare such as automatic check in of new creatures, automatic feeder, water fountains, among other stuff.
LUDONARRATIVE DISSONANCE
- The creatures will get mad or sick, but will never be hurt or die if the tasks are not completed.
- Responsibility and empathy will be rewarded and recognised as something truly positive.
REALITY VS GAME
- Players can practice taking care of other creatures and apply it in their daily routine, paying special attention to the smaller living beings requirements to live happily and healthy.
