This is my first time ever doing a project, I started by using the inspo picture to sketch out some ideas. I wanted a main illustration and supporting patterns.

The rainbow immediately pulled me in & inspired me to make this, also using inspiration of a photo of my girlfriend & I. I couldn't decided if I liked a more minimal lineless look like this:

Or a more full illustration line-art & shading detail like below. I think my patterns & supporting artwork could use more work as well. I liked the idea of where I was headed with everything but I do think I lost it somewhere along the way. I am not sure if the colors weren't working or the art, or if I am too big a critique.
