I had so much fun with this class and project. This is the second collage that I have done in my life!

At the start, I had no idea what animal to pick. So I looked into my materials and I had these beautiful floral cut-outs that I wanted to use. Then I saw this old watercolour painting that I didn't like as much and I noticed that I had a lot of pinks, blues and purples. With this colour scheme in mind, the Flamingo seemed the right choice. 

My approach was to draw my sketch and cut the overall shape, and layer the elements over this cut shape, trimming where needed. Although it is not the easiest approach, it worked very well for me and I felt more confident doing it this way.
