I don't have paint so I used color pencils. For my shapes I chose squiggly blob and half circle. I started out playing with a limited pallet of green and orange on one page, and expanding the color palette in different ways on the next page. I haven't done a "fundamentals" exercise like this since college and it was surprisingly fun and satisfying! Thanks for the prompt, Kate!
