I found this picture of my sister when looking for a portrait with contrast. I drew it in grays with pencil first. Then I did the class lead drills. I sent it off to my daughters and said who is this? The guesses were my mom, my sister or me. I guess there is some familial resemblance there. All of my project posts are on cheap paper. When I feel ready I’ll be trying some of these on My good watercolor block. I’m good with it for now. Getting more washes for more depth will be tried then but this paper doesn’t stand up to that action.

This class was helpful and I will try more with this teacher. I like the looseness of the style.
