So cool! I love that you played on lots of different papers! Did you have a favorite paper for these after trying so many?

thank you! Usually my favorite paper is Arches paper but I felt like for this exercise it was a little too controlled. I liked having more textures. The problem with Canson is that it always buckles if it gets wet and if you use tape it rips the paper but otherwise I enjoyed it for this exercise. My favorite pieces were actually the ones on the mixed media paper. So I would probably go with the mixed media paper as my favorite since I got a good result and the paper was pretty sturdy.

Very interesting! I love experimenting with papers and use different ones as often as I can now. Lately, I have been loving the Canson Heritage and the hahnemuhle 100% cotton papers. :)

I just looked up Canson Heritage paper, is this new? I haven't been in the USA the past 4 years and I don't remember seeing it before.

It is not as easy to get here... and lately, it seems to be out of stock everywhere that had been carrying it... so I wonder if there is a shortage going on. Arches is the easiest to get and I never pull out my arches... I need to get it out and start using it more :)

Another fun class by Denise! I played around with Watercolor pans, liquid watercolors and granulating watercolors for this exercise and I also used different types of paper.
