EDIT:  As I looked at the picture more and more, I realized I made an anatomy mistake with the girls left elbow.  I fixed it and resubmitted it.  I left the cover image with the mistake in the files so you can see what I did to fix it. 

 

At first, I was going to create a sleuth or witchy type character, but in the end, I decided to create someone a lot like me when I was a girl.  A girl who raises animals and lives on a farm.  I think there's lots of stories in my childhood I could revisit and turn into books for kids.
